Colonel Light Gardens Primary School is a few kilometres from the city of Adelaide in South Australia. Colonel Light Gardens is a State Heritage Area, a garden suburb based on the Garden City concept. It is set in a picturesque location at the foot of the southern hills. The school has approximately 690 students from Reception to Year 7.

The school was established in 1926 and has a long history with notable scholars.

Students are supervised in the yard from 8:30am.

Unit doors open at 8:40am and students make their way to class. First lesson begins at 8:50am.
School day begins:     8:50am                            
Recess playtime:   10:50am  -  11:10am 
Lunch playtime:     1:10pm  -    1:50pm
School day concludes:     3:10pm


Students are again supervised in the yard until 3:30pm.

The Office is open from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm. Our school administration staff are happy to assist you with queries relating to our school.
